The two day workshop costs $80, include all materials and three skeins of yarn you’ll be taking home with you.

Each day we’ll be meeting for about three hours. While dyeing yarn is not too terribly messy, you’ll want to wear something that could get dirty. Erica and I will be setting up an outdoor dye studio behind the shop and hopefully the weather will agree with us!

Day One: You’ll explore a dip dye technique with a skein of sock yarn.
Day Two: “Trade Secrets Revealed”
Erica has developed her own method of dyeing - a fusion of several techniques.

We will also be offering another workshop in November. Participants will be chosen in the same manner. More details to come on that session! And if these go well maybe there will be additional workshops in springtime!

Update: Due to the overwhelming interest in Erica’s class and my desire to be as fair as possible, participants will be chosen through a lottery process.
